Bringing Your Child

We make eye exams fun. Here's what to tell them.

Let them know they'll look through some cool lenses, see some lights, and play a few matching games. Dr. Anderson sees kids all day — he's good at making nervous ones comfortable. No scary air puffs and thanks to our modern technology we rarely need drops for most pediatric exams.

Common Questions

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly with us — no referral needed for a comprehensive eye exam or myopia consultation.

Can I book my whole family at once?

Yes. We offer family block scheduling so everyone can be seen in one trip. Just let us know when you book.

What if my child is nervous?

Dr. Anderson sees kids all day. He's patient, he explains everything in kid-friendly terms, and most children end up having fun. No drops are needed for most pediatric exams.

How long does an exam take?

Plan for about an hour from check-in to checkout. The exam itself is unhurried — Dr. Anderson takes the time to explain what he sees.

What if I'm overdue for an exam?

No judgment. Whether it's been 2 years or 10, we'll do a thorough assessment and get you caught up.

Is the myopia consultation separate?

Yes. The myopia management consultation is a dedicated 30-minute assessment with Dr. Anderson, separate from a routine exam. There is no extra charge for a myopia consultation. You can book both if needed.
